Vintage shoe pocket Nike waffle trainer ad from 1979 @ The Deffest

Vintage shoe pocket Nike waffle ad from 1979

March 19, 2019

We usually post ads for old sneaker brands but every once in awhile I'm going to start posting some of the other old school 'technology' ads associated with these old running kicks. Our Instagram buddy @khallivegas posted some 'Roos yesterday and we were trying to figure out the actual purpose of the pocket or if it was just a gimmick. I think KangaRoos might've been trying to put the Shoe Pocket out of business. This ad is from 1979 and was like the original "fanny pack" for your Nike waffles.
