Arthur Lydiard by EB Brütting vintage sneaker ad

Here's another old timey black and white track coach ad, once again featuring Arthur Lydiard in 1977 for EB Brütting. This ad was promoted by Footlocker and was for the Road Runner, Universal, The Sprint, Sao Paulo, Interval, Marathon and the Munich (which isn't shown in the ad.) Arthur Lydiard was a spokesman for Converse later on in the 80s, where he designed the Thunderbolt and Equinox running shoes.

Sao Paulo by EB Lydiard 1975 vintage sneaker ad

Earlier I posted the Converse Thunderbolt Arthur Lydiard ad. Prior to his relationship with Converse he worked with a brand called EB. These running shoes are the EB Lydiard "Sao Paulo" sneakers from 1975. This brand is now known as EB Brütting and is based out of Germany.
